I opened this home-based Reiki practice to offer people a calm and supportive place to slow down and recharge away from daily stress and overwhelm.
I understand how important it is to feel comfortable, safe and at ease during a session, especially if it’s your first experience with Reiki.
My intention is to provide a welcoming space where you can simply relax, rest and take time for yourself.
What Is Reiki?
Reiki is a gentle Japanese energy healing practice developed by Mikao Usui in the early 20th century.
The word Reiki is often translated as “universal life energy” and refers to the natural energy believed to flow through and around all living things. Reiki is based on the understanding that this life force energy supports balance, harmony and wellbeing.
When the flow of energy becomes affected by the stresses and challenges of daily life, we may feel its effects on physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels.
Reiki works to support and restore the natural flow of energy, encouraging a greater sense of balance, calm and overall wellbeing.
Practiced around the world for over a century, Reiki is valued for its gentle, non-invasive and supportive nature. It is suitable for people of all ages and backgrounds.
